E-Water Solutions at ICC Sydney
30 November 2020
Since opening in late 2016, ICC Sydney’s kitchen has operated using the eWater system, an Australian owned company which supplies electrolysis units to generate sustainable and effective alternatives to harmful cleaning products. ICC Sydney’s kitchen employs this system to produce cleaning and sanitisation solutions that eradicate bacteria, used for hand washing, cleaning produce and wiping down hard surfaces.
As well as eliminating general microbials, eWater Disinfectant is a certified organic hard surface disinfectant which has been tested and approved by the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) as a hard surface disinfectant proven to kill the microbials that cause COVID-19. The wellbeing of our attendees and team members is of the utmost importance and following the COVID-19 pandemic, this discovery further consolidates ICC Sydney’s confidence in welcoming attendees back to the venue in the safest conditions as possible.
Although eWater is powerful enough to eradicate coronaviruses, including COVID-19, its chemical composition is very simple and consists of only two ingredients – tap water (H20) and high grade salt (NaCl). When the solution passes through the eWater System, its physical and chemical properties are altered which makes it a strong, yet natural, commercial grade disinfectant. Both ingredients are naturally biodegradable and can therefore pass through drain and sewage systems without causing harm.
