20 - 22 June 2021

Communicable Diseases & Immunisation Conference

The Communicable Diseases & Immunisation Conference (CDIC) aims for a broad-based multidisciplinary approach, with lively presentations and robust exchanges. We will combine the cutting-edge science on topics including infectious disease biology, testing, surveillance, public policy and planning. We’ll also cover communications, data systems, high needs populations, health literacy, AMR, food borne disease, influenza, developments in the NIP, new vaccines and much more.

CDIC 2022 will also focus on communicable disease control issues and immunisation in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations and other vulnerable groups. It will attract professionals engaged in infectious disease epidemiology, microbiology and control from laboratory bench, to clinic, from academia to the public policy and program delivery.

We plan to operate CDIC 2022 in the beautiful city of Sydney, as both an in-person meeting (COVID-willing) and also virtual access for delegates who can’t travel. We’ve much experience in running informative, highly-valued online conferences. Offering both types of access will allow us to involve the highest quality international and Australian experts presenting various aspects of this rapidly moving and exciting era of communicable disease control.

The Public Health Association of Australia will continue to take the lead in bringing us all together. We invite you to join us as we take the next steps in creating this vital gathering.
