Regulating the Game 2022
Regulating the Game is a prestigious 5-day education program designed to build individual and organisational capability, deepen sector knowledge and advance thinking and discussion about contemporary best practice gambling regulation while cultivating an innovative and compliance-oriented culture.
The course will position attendees to understand and apply key regulatory principles and approaches, including risk-based licensing and supervision, engage with known and emerging issues and help shape evidence based public policy and efficient and effective gambling regulation.
The comprehensive and rigorous program builds on the 2019 Gaming Regulation course and will be delivered by core program faculty from the International Center for Gaming Regulation, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (ICGR), as well distinguished leaders in gambling law, regulation, public policy, investigations and research from Australia.
Regulating The Game 2022 will be hosted by Senet and include a mix of in-person and interactive remote lectures with ICGR core program faculty, as well as case studies and group work. Attendees will access the latest thinking and knowledge, apply principles in practice and have the opportunity to hear from each other and benchmark regulatory frameworks and approaches with Australian and international regulators and industry stakeholders.
